LOS ANGELES, CA — Residents are wondering if one year without a damn wildfire too much to ask. Earlier today, the Southland was bombarded with four fires: the Spring fire in Malibu, a 2 acre fire in Walnut, a massive blaze in Glendale, and a brushfire in Redlands. The LA Fire Chief says, “We’re getting pretty used to handling these fires, considering they’re every damn year. You know the phrase ‘practice makes perfect’? Well we’ve definitely had our share of practice.” Meanwhile, Patrick Daley of Toluca Lake said, “I’m pretty sure if I go outside my house right now I’ll catch on fire. This is just insane.” Just then, his oven exploded and started yet another fire.
